My Brands

Dakine Wind

KT is my preferred board brand for both strapless kitesurfing. The Driver kite surfboard is an incredible performance surf shape and I have a 5’7 and 5’9 for smaller and larger wave conditions, respectively. This board doesn’t have inserts for straps and is designed for ultimate wave performance.

Ozone

Ozone is my preferred kite and wing brand and I am proud to supply their products to my clients. After years of designing and manufacturing paragliders, Ozone brought their expertise to the kite industry. They own their own manufacturing center in Vietnam and have design and testing centers in Spain and New Zealand. Unlike other brands, Ozone will only release new products when they have developed meaningful improvements and use a 18-24 month product cycle instead of annual releases. They only build to order, and all of this results in products that hold high resale value and remain current for multiple seasons.

Crazyfly Boards

I have used Crazyfly twin tips since my first lesson in 2016 and am proud to be a dealer of their products. Their various constructions are bombproof and they offer a wide range of models to fit all rider sizes and styles. I’ve used the same LW Cruiser since 2017 for lessons and personal riding and it shows almost no wear after hundreds of hours of use. The Slicer is their light-wind carbon fiber board and has been my most popular choice for beginners over the last few years. The Raptor is a high-performance freeride shape, offered in several different constructions and also as a women’s-specific model, the Raptor Diva. Crazyfly operates their own manufacturing center in Europe and their quality is unmatched. Their retail prices are slightly lower than most kite brands’ board while offering more durable and higher quality products in my opinion.

U.Go Kite Line Mount

I have used the U.Go kite line mount to capture some incredible photos and video of my own riding. U.Go’s unique design allows your flag-out safety system to function normally, while holding itself in place on your lines. This mount is compatible with all GoPro models, as well as Revl Arc, DJI and similar action cameras. I have mostly used a Hero 8 Black with this mount, although my favorite clips were taken using a friend’s Hero 9 Black with Max Lens Mod and horizon lock enabled shooting 9:16 (vertical). The Max Lens Mod with horizon lock keeps the view of the rider level and the lines rotate around the frame of view. This setup is much lighter than using a GoPro Max or a rotating mount from other vendors. Line mounts do create some limitations due to the weight on the lines and possibility of catching a steering line on the mount during loops. I prefer to use line mounts when I have plenty of wind, don’t plan on looping the kite much and have clear weather for best quality footage. I have never broken a line mount but recommend using a camera leash attached to your center lines to be safe.
